As the first part of my Artists Challenge I was to re create old pieces into what I thought they should look like today, as opposed to how I saw them when I was creating them. The first image that I thought I would use was a heart image that I made a long time ago.
I spent many hours on the computer attempting to Photoshop this image (I’ve never used Photoshop before for more than just changing contrast). I had to stay off the computer for a good 2-3 hours afterward to let my eyes re-cooperate but I like my final product. Thus I give you *drum role please* Heart of Roses #2 (and now also my background)
I love how those hearts turned out! They would look good on some strings and hung from a ceiling in a grouping. Have you ever done any origami before?
I`ve done minimal origami, and creating some to hang from the ceiling that were 2D wouldn’t be much of a problem as I used some origami to help me create the same size and shape hearts. However if you were thinking 3D that would be quite the endeavor on my part
Yeah, 3D would take a lot more effort! Those 2D hearts are very awesome. Great job!
